Overview

This new device from Shootview is for channel branding in the digital domain. The Shootview BugTrap is a new digital logo store and keyer which can store up to eight logos that can be cut in and out with GPI's. The logos can be of any size up to a quarter of the picture width.

Logos and their key signal are grabbed into non-volatile memory via the SDI input. Once stored, the logo is keyed, by a linear keyer, over the programme signal.

The BugTrap has one programme input, a buffered loop through and two outputs. One of which has a relay bypass to the program input allowing the signal to pass through the unit in event of power failure.

BugTrap is housed is a very compact case measuring only 104mm x 104mm x 27mm and is powered from an AC adaptor.
