Overview
Patterns
Black, Pluge, Luminance Multiburst, 75% Bars & Red, 75% bars, 100% Bars & Red, 100% Bars, Shallow Chrominance & Luminance Ramp. Each pattern can have overlaid: A circle (4x3 & 16x9), centre cross, safe action cage, safe title cage and picture extremity cage. In addition moving saw teeth.
There are four independent pattern generators each of which can output one 4:4:4 or two 4:2:2 patterns. Each pattern generator can free run or lock to one of two digital or one analogue reference inputs. Therefore it is possible to have eight simultaneous patterns with four differing standards.
Audio
There are 15 independent tone generators, each of which may be set to any frequency between 20Hz and 22 kHz with or without interruption.
To aid the measurement of audio video delay the unit has a video audio clapper.
Line Ident, Source Ident or Path Ident
Up to four lines of text can be overlaid on the selected pattern. This is inputted via a standard PS2 keyboard.
